WhatsApp Integration in SIBRO
SIBRO now supports WhatsApp notifications — making it easy to send real-time updates to customers, POSPs, and other stakeholders directly from the platform.
This guide walks you through the step-by-step process of enabling WhatsApp integration in SIBRO, along with estimated timelines and pricing details.
Step 1: WhatsApp Vendor Selection
To get started, you’ll need a WhatsApp API vendor (such as Gupshup, Twilio, WATI, etc.).
- We’ll work with your preferred vendor, or
- Help you select and onboard a suitable one, if you don't already have one.

(If a vendor is already finalized, we can proceed immediately.)
Step 2: WhatsApp Business Account Setup & KYC
We’ll coordinate with the vendor to verify and activate your WhatsApp Business Account (WABA). You'll need to provide:
- Company PAN Card
- Certificate of Incorporation, GST Certificate, or Shop & Establishment License
- Address Proof (e.g., utility bill or rental agreement)
- Official Website URL (Meta may ask for minor updates on your site during verification)
- Business Email ID (preferably domain-based like
info@yourcompany.com) - Dedicated Mobile Number (must not be used on WhatsApp previously)
- Business Facebook Account
- Access to personal Facebook login (required to manage the Business Manager)
- Credit or Debit Card (to link with your Facebook Business Manager)

Step 3: Display Name Approval
The name you want displayed on WhatsApp must closely match your registered business name or brand identity. Meta will review and approve this as part of the onboarding.

Step 4: Message Template Approval
WhatsApp requires pre-approval for all message templates — such as those used for policy updates, payment reminders, and notifications.

Step 5: API Integration with SIBRO
Once your account is verified and message templates are approved, we’ll integrate the WhatsApp account with SIBRO via APIs.
Post-integration, you’ll be able to:

- Set up event-based triggers for automated notifications
