Transition to the New Business Statement @ SIBRO
We have phased out the old business statement and has introduced a New Business Statement.
Below are the key changes you’ll notice:
- Performance: Report generation speed has been significantly improved.
- Type of Business: Previously, this field displayed New, Renew, Rollover, Installment, or Coinsurer. Moving forward, it will only show New, Renew, or Rollover.
- New Field – Type: We’ve added a Type field, which will indicate whether the entry is a Policy, Endorsement, or Installment.
- Co-insurer: Previously, co-insurer policies were flagged in the Type of Business column. Now, we’ve introduced a dedicated Co-insurer column to specify whether the entry is a co-insurer policy and, if so, whether it’s a Leader or Follower.
- Year: A new Year field has been added to specify the policy year. This is particularly helpful for installments, as it clarifies whether an installment corresponds to Year 1, Year 2, Year 10, etc.
- APIs: The Business Statement APIs have been updated to align with the new report. If you are already using SIBRO’s APIs, please ensure you implement the necessary changes.
Note for Admin Users:
To apply these changes to the Business Statement report, navigate to Settings > Templates > Report Download, then enable the new fields and arrange them in the desired order.
