Once the account is created, you will share the credentials with your SIBRO SPOC, and our team will handle the rest, including creating a sub-user (IAM user), setting up servers, and installing the application.

The following is a step-by-step guide to create an AWS account:

Step 3: Enter Account Details

  1. Email Address: Provide a valid email address that you have access to. This will be used for account communication and verification.
  2. Password: Create a strong password for your AWS account. Ensure it is secure but something you can remember.
  3. AWS Account Name: Enter a name for your AWS account (e.g., your company name or a project name).

  1. Fill in your full namephone number, and country/region.
  2. Enter your business or personal address. This information is required for billing purposes.

  2. Confirm the billing address associated with your payment method.

Step 6: Verify Your Identity

  1. AWS will ask you to verify your identity via a phone call or SMS. Enter your phone number and choose your preferred method.
  2. You will receive a verification code on your phone. Enter this code on the AWS website to complete the verification process.

Step 7: Select the Free Support Plan

  1. AWS offers different support plans. Select the “Basic” plan, which is free and sufficient for your needs. Do not select any paid plans, as they may result in unnecessary charges.

  1. Review all the information you’ve entered to ensure it’s accurate.
  2. Click “Continue” to finalize your AWS account setup.

Step 9: Share Credentials with SIBRO Support

  1. Once your account is created, log in to the AWS Management Console using your email and password.
  2. Share your root account credentials (email and password) securely with the SIBRO Support team. This will allow us to create a sub-user (IAM user) with the necessary permissions to set up and manage your hosting environment.

Step 10: SIBRO Support Takes Over

  1. After receiving your credentials, the SIBRO Support team will:
    • Create a sub-user (IAM user) with restricted permissions for secure access.
    • Set up the required servers and infrastructure.
    • Install and configure the SIBRO Software application.
  2. Once the setup is complete, we will notify you and provide further instructions for accessing your hosted software.

Important Notes

  • Billing Alerts: We recommend setting up billing alerts in the AWS Billing Dashboard to monitor your usage and avoid unexpected charges.
  • GST Number: Open the AWS Billing and Cost Management console at https://console.aws.amazon.com/costmanagement/. On the navigation pane, choose Tax Settings. Under Manage Tax Registration Numbers, add your GST numbers.
  • Security: After the SIBRO Support team creates the IAM user, we will no longer need access to your root account credentials. You can reset your root account password for added security.
