Using Client Groups

Once configured, at Apply filter > Client Name, you can filter by either Individual client names or Client Group names.

For example, if you filter by Tata Group, the report will include data for Tata Motors, Tata Chemicals, Air India, etc.

Key Benefits

  • Simplified Reporting: No need to select multiple clients manually.
  • Consolidated Data: View combined results for an entire business group.
  • Time-Saving: Faster filtering for large organizations with subsidiaries.

When Not to Use Client Groups

  • For unrelated clients with no business connection
  • When reports require individual client-level data only (e.g., have retail customer only)

Troubleshooting & Tips

  • Client Group option not visible?
Ensure "Grouping Of Client" is enabled in Organization Master.
  • Clients not appearing in group reports?
Double-check that clients are correctly assigned to the group in Client Master.
